Warehouse
The warehouse keeps items, balances, reservations and movement documents. A balance here is not a stored value but a projection of an immutable journal of movements, so any discrepancy can be traced to a document and its author.

What is included?
- Seven item types: goods, material, semi-finished product, finished product, service, packaging, returnable waste
- Six warehouse types: main, retail point, transit, production, defect, safekeeping
- Thirteen kinds of stock documents, from goods receipt to missorting, with approval and batch posting
- Reservations for a customer order, a production order or manual, with a required expiry date
- Inventory count with a cutoff: the warehouse keeps working during the count
- Ten reports: balances as of a date, turnover sheet, ABC and XYZ, slow-moving items, expiring shelf life

Frequently asked questions
Can I work with the warehouse only?
Yes. The warehouse does not require other modules and covers the accounting of a trading company. Purchasing, production and planning connect to it later on the same data.
Does the warehouse stop during an inventory count?
No. The inventory count fixes a cutoff moment, and movements after it are recorded separately, so receipts and shipments continue.
