Frequently asked questions

Can goods be received without a purchase order?

Yes. A receipt without an order is allowed, and when posted it creates a goods receipt in the same way as a receipt against an order.

What happens to the order if a delivery is short?

The quantity in the order is not overwritten. The discrepancy is recorded as a decision in the receipt, and the order moves to the “Partially received” status.
