Reservations for orders and production
A reservation reduces the available quantity for all modules at once, because it is calculated from one register. The expiry date is required, so forgotten reservations do not block goods for months.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to a reservation after it expires?
The reservation moves to the “Expired” status and no longer reduces the available quantity. Before that, the person in charge gets a notification.
Does sales see the reservation?
Yes. The available quantity is shared by all modules and by A3.Sales, so the same goods are not promised twice.
